Head of Fundraising & Engagement

Salary: £65,000 - £75,000

Contract: Permanent

Location: London based/mostly remote

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Head of Fundraising and Engagement to join one of the UK's leading Armed Forces charities. Since 2016, the charity has distributed more than £40 million in grants to over 550 organisations supporting veterans, serving personnel and their families, funded primarily through its highly successful Lottery.

Reporting to the CEO and sitting on the Senior Leadership Team, this is a newly created strategic leadership role that will help shape the next chapter of the charity's growth. The Charity has ambitious plans to diversify income, strengthen supporter relationships, raise its profile across the Armed Forces sector and increase its influence through evidence-led engagement.

As part of this exciting role, you will lead the development and delivery of integrated fundraising and communications strategies, driving sustainable income growth while strengthening the charity's reputation and influence.

To be successful as the Head of Fundraising and Engagement, you will need:

• Significant senior leadership experience across fundraising, leading multi-discipline teams.
• A proven track record of developing and implementing strategies that have delivered measurable organisational growth and income generation results.
• The ability to work with Trustees, the CEO and other stakeholders to drive forward organisational step-change
• Strong experience of public fundraising, supporter acquisition and engagement would be ideal.
