What the job involves

We're looking an Events and Community Fundraising Products Executive to join our Events and Community Team. We're a results-driven team focused on maximising opportunities, reaching ambitious goals, and delivering an outstanding experience for our supporters.

You'll help develop and deliver a number of our virtual fundraising products, a programme that consists of The Month Series, Day of Darts, The Big Golf Race and Prostate United. Working across Events and Community Fundraising, Communications, Services and with external partners, you'll bring colleagues together to keep plans, budgets, income and performance on track.

You'll shape recruitment campaigns and supporter journeys across email, social media, SMS and WhatsApp, prepare clear briefs, and use data, supporter insight and market knowledge to improve participation, experience and return on investment. You'll have the opportunity to build on your knowledge of our organisation, strengthen relationships across teams and contribute directly to growing fundraising income and our impact for men affected by prostate cancer.

What we want from you

We're looking for someone who can plan and deliver fundraising products, campaigns or comparable projects involving several stakeholders. You'll be organised and comfortable balancing competing priorities, making decisions and meeting deadlines, while building effective relationships with colleagues, suppliers and agencies.

You'll use data and insight to understand performance, spot issues and recommend practical improvements, and you'll be confident maintaining accurate records and monitoring expenditure. You'll also have a strong eye for detail and be able to write clear, motivational communications for different audiences and channels. Most importantly, you'll care about an excellent and inclusive supporter experience, work collaboratively and actively support our commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion and allyship.

How and where we work

Colleagues attend the office at least four days per month (pro rata for part-time colleagues) to collaborate, build relationships, and support projects and decision-making. You can choose where to work the rest of the time. Travel to the office is a commute, so we pay our own travel costs.

Additional in-person attendance will be required during your first few months for induction and training, to support you to learn the role and get to know colleagues.
