The role

In your new role as a Senior Learning & Development Coordinator, you will support the delivery of professional skills learning across the firm, working with everyone from Trainee Solicitors and newly qualified Associates through to Partners. You will play a key role in coordinating training programmes, inductions and development initiatives while working closely with internal stakeholders and external training providers.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating the annual professional skills training programme, including scheduling courses, speakers, venues and materials.
• Supporting Trainee Solicitor and NQ Associate development programmes, including inductions, training schedules and development records.
• Organising firm-wide training, development centres, away days and wellbeing initiatives.
• Liaising with internal stakeholders and external training providers to ensure programmes run smoothly.
• Tracking attendance and CPD hours, maintaining L&D records and keeping the Learning Management System up to date.
• Supporting L&D projects, budgets, invoices, communications and the day-to-day administration of the team.

What do you need?

In order to be successful in this role you will need:

• Previous experience working in a similar role at a law firm.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple programmes and priorities simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and confidence liaising with stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive, reliable and collaborative approach.
• Strong Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Experience using databases or Learning Management Systems, with Litera CE Manager or VinciWorks experience advantageous.
