Are you already working as an Estimator or Assistant Estimator - or do you have experience in project coordination, quotations, sales support, project support or commercial administration and feel ready for your next career step?

Previous estimating experience would be welcomed, but it isn't essential. If you already work with projects, quotations, orders, drawings, quantities or detailed commercial information, you may have many of the transferable skills they are looking for.

Full training will be provided on the company's specialist acoustic products and technical estimating process.

What will you be doing?

The Estimator helps work out what products are required for a commercial interiors project, how much is needed and what the project will cost.

Your role will include:

  • Reviewing drawings, specifications and project information
  • Working out the quantities of acoustic products required
  • Preparing estimates, proposals and quotations
  • Calculating costs using product and project information
  • Gathering the information needed before a project can be priced
  • Identifying missing or unclear information and resolving queries
  • Updating quotations when drawings, quantities or requirements change
  • Keeping project and quotation information accurate and up to date
  • Working closely with sales and other internal teams to keep projects moving

What are we looking for?

You could already be working as an:

  • Estimator or Assistant Estimator
  • Project Assistant or Project Coordinator
  • Sales Support or Quotations Coordinator
  • Commercial Administrator
  • Project Support Administrator
  • Similar role within commercial interiors, construction or a design-led product company

You'll ideally be:

  • Comfortable working with numbers and detailed information
  • Accurate and highly organised
  • A logical problem solver
  • Confident using Excel and learning new systems
  • Comfortable managing several projects or enquiries at once
  • A good communicator who enjoys working with different people
  • Keen to learn and develop your career

Experience within commercial interiors, construction, fit-out, furniture, lighting, textiles, acoustics or another design-led product environment would be particularly useful, but we are open to other backgrounds where the skills are transferable.
