Plumbing Lecturer

REED are seeking a Lecturer in Plumbing for a full-time teaching position in a Further Education college.

This role involves teaching Level 1 and Level 2 Plumbing learners. The ideal candidate will have strong industry knowledge and practical experience in plumbing, coupled with experience teaching in a similar educational setting.

Lecturer in Plumbing

• Contract: Temporary
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Working Days: Monday to Friday
• Start Date: Within the next 2 weeks
• Pay: Up to £40 per hour
• Location: Post 16 environment

Day-to-day of the role of a Plumbing teacher:

• Deliver engaging and effective training sessions to Level 1 and Level 2 Plumbing learners.
• Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials based on the curriculum requirements.
• Assess and evaluate learners' progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain a positive and conducive learning environment.
• Collaborate with other faculty members to enhance teaching methodologies and learner experience.
• Stay updated with the latest industry practices and integrate them into the curriculum.

Required Skills & Qualifications for the Plumbing Lecturer role:

• Experience teaching Plumbing in Further Education or a similar setting.
• Ability to teach Level 2 Plumbing learners effectively.
• Relevant Plumbing qualifications.
• Teaching qualification is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong industry knowledge and practical plumbing experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
