Are you an enthusiastic and inspirational Science Teacher looking to join a supportive and ambitious school community?
KPI Education is working in partnership with a successful and inclusive secondary school in Lewisham to recruit a Teacher of Science for a permanent full-time position starting September 2026 or January 2027. This opportunity is suitable for both experienced teachers and ambitious ECTs looking to develop within a collaborative and supportive Science department.

The Role
The successful candidate will teach Science across a range of age groups and abilities, delivering engaging lessons that inspire curiosity, scientific thinking and strong academic progress.
The school is seeking a motivated classroom practitioner who is committed to raising attainment and contributing positively to the wider life of the school community.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment with high expectations for all students
Monitor and assess student progress, providing clear and effective feedback
Differentiate lessons to support students of varying abilities and learning needs
Encourage curiosity, practical investigation and scientific enquiry
Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental development
Support students pastorally and academically throughout their school journey
Play an active role within the wider school community and enrichment programme
Ideal Candidate
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or currently completing teacher training
Degree in Science or a related subject
Passion for Science education and student achievement
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Ability to motivate and inspire students across a range of abilities
Commitment to continuous professional development and collaborative working
