  • Providing technical guidance and support to junior members of the team.
  • Mentoring and supporting trainee and junior staff.
  • Identifying and resolving technical and construction-related issues.
  • Working to agreed project programmes and deadlines.

About You

We are looking for someone who is technically strong, detail focused and able to work independently across multiple projects.

You will have:

  • Proven experience working as an Architectural Technician or Architectural Technologist, ideally at senior level. Strong technicians ready to step up are also encouraged to apply.
  • Strong, up to date knowledge of UK Building Regulations.
  • Proven experience producing detailed working drawings, construction information and technical packages.
  • Strong working knowledge and competency in Revit, including working within a BIM environment and coordinating information within Revit. This is an essential requirement for the role.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials and technical detailing.
  • Experience coordinating and checking technical drawing packages.
  • The ability to interpret design information and develop it into accurate, buildable technical solutions.
  • Experience liaising with clients, contractors and other consultants.
  • Strong communication, organisation and time management skills.
  • The confidence to work independently and take ownership of your projects.
  • The ability to support and mentor less experienced members of the team.
  • Right to work in the UK. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this role.

Experience of CDM and Principal Designer duties would be advantageous.

  • Regular CPD and professional development opportunities.
  • Friendly, relaxed working environment.
  • Opportunity to work on a varied portfolio of projects and develop your technical and professional experience.
  • Gift vouchers to celebrate birthdays and work anniversaries.
