Cash for Kids is a grant-giving charity helping the children that need it most across the UK. Our mission is to improve the lives of disadvantaged children and young people in our communities who are affected by poverty, illness, neglect or have additional needs. We work with grassroots organisations that aim to make a difference to young lives, directly supporting families who often have nowhere else to go.

Working in collaboration with central partnerships, campaign and communications team to drive projects to benefit all. The small team you will be joining are passionate and driven about the children we want to help throughout the year.

The Difference you will make

As The Corporate Fundraising Executive you will drive new business and income generation by identifying, researching and securing new corporate partnerships, while nurturing a pipeline of wider prospective supporters. This includes major donors, events and other relevant income streams.

Working closely with the National Brands Charity Manager and National Partnerships Manager, you will be leading on developing and converting new funding opportunities, maximising income through proactive prospecting, relationship building and tailored fundraising approaches.

Your role

  • Develop, maintain and grow relationships with long term corporate supporters.
  • Help partners develop their fundraising plans by providing ideas, support and resources.
  • Research new corporate partners and corporate trusts to approach for support.
  • Inspire and motivate supporters, providing creativity and resources maximise fundraising.
  • Working with the wider team to develop proposals for corporate Charity of the Year partnerships.
  • Help to deliver Cash for Kids corporate engagement events.
  • Identify any multisite/national opportunities with locally based businesses and work with the National Partnership Manager to expand support.
  • Maintaining excellent working relationships with stakeholders and representing our charity, establishing strong relationships and building trust.

The Skills you will bring

  • Experience in developing relationships with corporate partners, ideally within a sales or third sector role.
  • Experience developing targeted proposals for presentation to prospective corporate partners.
  • Strong presenting and communication skills with the ability to negotiate.
  • Be proficient in using Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook & presentation systems.
  • Energetic, enthusiastic and confident with a hands-on approach.

Working Pattern/Location

This is fulltime role, Monday - Friday, 9am - 5.30pm with flexible working hours. We also offer a hybrid way of working that supports a balance of working from home and our office in London 2 - 3 days a week. Some flexibility to work evenings/weekends will be needed depending on partner events.
