Hours: 35 hours per week (1 FTE)
Salary: £32,000 - £36,000
Location: Hybrid, anchored to the London Carers Trust office 1 day a week. Flexibility to work from other Carers Trust's offices around the UK when needed.
This role is central to telling the stories that bring Carers Trust's work to life and inspire people to engage with our mission. Through the creation of high-quality, engaging digital content across social media, video, web and written channels, the Digital Content Officer will help raise awareness of the challenges facing unpaid carers and demonstrate the difference that Carers Trust, our Network Partners and supporters make across the UK.
Working within the Marketing and Communications Team and closely alongside colleagues across the organisation, the postholder will develop and deliver compelling content that supports campaigns, fundraising, influencing and engagement activity. They will gather stories from carers and Network Partners, create and coordinate digital content across multiple platforms, and help ensure our communications remain creative, timely and audience-focused.
The role will also play an important part in ensuring the voices, experiences and achievements of unpaid carers are at the heart of Carers Trust's communications. By creating impactful and accessible content that informs, inspires and engages, the postholder will help strengthen public understanding, increase support for carers, and contribute to positive change for unpaid carers across the UK.
