Pay Rate: £140 - £200 per day

Job Overview:
Looking for a rewarding role in education? Supply Staff Ltd is seeking a qualified Design and Technology Teacher for full-time, long-term positions and day-to-day supply work across Croydon. As a Design and Technology Teacher, you may teach across D&T, Food Technology and Art, depending on your specialism and experience. You will plan and deliver engaging practical lessons, assess student progress and encourage creativity, problem-solving and technical skills. The ideal Design & Technology Teacher will hold a PGCE and QTS or QTLS, and early career teachers are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging Design & Technology Teacher lessons.
Teach D&T, Food Technology and/or Art according to your specialism.
Develop students' practical, creative and technical skills.
Assess and monitor student progress.
Promote safe and effective use of practical equipment and resources.

Requirements:
QTS or QTLS certification.
PGCE or equivalent qualification.
Experience teaching D&T, Food Technology and/or Art.
Passion for practical and creative education.
Strong communication and classroom management skills.
Early career teachers are welcome to apply.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willing to apply.
Full compliance with standard UK school safeguarding regulations.
