AI Engineer

Avanti is working with a fintech in London who's done with traditional software development. This role is for Mid Level Software Engineers who already live in Cursor/Claude and are wondering why everyone else is still coding like it's 2018.

What You'll Actually Do

• Ship complete features weekly. Not tickets. Features. The whole thing.
• Run multiple AI agents while you architect solutions - Claude handles boilerplate, you handle thinking
• Talk to real users. Monday you understand the problem. Friday they're using what you built.
• Work with 4-5 people who move the same speed as you (3 days/week London, actually in a room together)

You Are

• Already using AI to code and can't go back
• Can build frontend, backend, whatever - you just build the thing
• More interested in shipping than perfecting
• Comfortable talking to customers because you want to build stuff people actually use
• Probably frustrated at how slow your current place moves

This Isn't For You If

• You need 2 weeks to research before building
• "That's not my job, I'm a backend developer"
• You think AI is just autocomplete
• You want to go deep on one problem for months

The Details

Location: Central London, 3 days/week

Interview Process: 30-min call, then 2-3 hours building something real with the team. Offer within 24 hours if it clicks.
