Part Time - Student Experience Officer

Signature Recruitment is recruiting a Student Experience Officer to join a well-regarded London higher education institution in a part time, fully office-based role.

This is a three-month temporary position with an immediate start, paying £19.22 per hour plus holiday pay. You will work part time, Monday to Friday afternoons, on campus in London. It is a great opportunity for someone seeking reliable hours in a busy, student-focused environment.

Working within a busy student-facing service, you will be a welcoming first point of contact for students, responding to enquiries and helping them access the right support. You will also assist with student administration, maintain accurate records and support communications and engagement activities. Previous higher education experience would be beneficial, along with strong customer service, organisation and communication skills.

Student Experience Officer - Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome students and visitors while providing helpful frontline advice and excellent customer service
• Respond to student enquiries and refer more complex queries to the appropriate specialist teams
• Maintain accurate records of enquiries and student engagement
• Manage student communications through shared mailboxes, digital screens and relevant systems
• Support student events, welcome activities, seminars, conferences and engagement initiatives
• Collaborate with colleagues to provide a responsive student service

Student Experience Officer - Key Skills:

• Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
• Strong organisation and time management in a busy environment
• Confidence using Microsoft Office, communication tools and record systems
• Ability to manage tasks independently while maintaining accuracy and discretion
