London Wembley-based Monday-Friday £35,000+ DOE + Car Allowance

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Optical Manager to take overall responsibility for an established Home Visits operation in London.

This is a varied Monday-Friday role, ideal for an experienced Dispensing Optician, Practice Manager or Optical Manager looking to step into a broader leadership position with genuine responsibility.

THE ROLE

You'll oversee the day-to-day running of the Home Visits operation, working closely with four field teams to ensure everything runs smoothly and efficiently.

The role will be predominantly office-based at the Wembley office, with flexibility throughout the working week. You can expect to spend around 3-4 days in the office, with the remaining time out in the field supporting teams and maintaining strong working relationships.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing and coordinating the overall Home Visits operation
• Supporting and managing four field teams
• Visiting teams in the field and providing hands-on support
• Overseeing day-to-day operational performance
• Supporting team development, organisation and efficiency
• Acting as a key point of contact for the wider business
• Maintaining high standards across the operation
• Helping drive the continued growth and success of the service

ABOUT YOU

We're looking for someone with strong optical and management experience who is confident taking ownership of a business operation.

You could be an experienced Dispensing Optician, Practice Manager or Optical Manager, or someone with a strong optical retail background who is ready for their next step.

Previous domiciliary experience would be highly desirable, although it isn't essential.

You'll be organised, commercially aware and confident managing people, with the ability to work independently while supporting a wider team.
