Magen David Adom UK is looking for an exceptional Head of Supporter Services & Stewardship to lead the experience its supporters receive after they choose to give.

This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced supporter care, stewardship or relationship-management professional to step into a senior leadership role at an ambitious, growing charity, and to shape a function that sits right at the heart of its future.

Magen David Adom is Israel's national emergency medical, ambulance and blood service, providing lifesaving care to anyone who needs it, regardless of ethnicity or religion. In 2025 alone, MDA answered 4.29 million emergency calls, dispatching a response team every 22.8 seconds.

Behind that work is an extraordinary community of supporters, donors and volunteers. This role is about making sure their experience of supporting MDA is every bit as thoughtful, professional and meaningful as the generosity they show.

This is an exciting moment to join Magen David Adom UK.

The charity has grown significantly, from £4m income in 2016 to £9m in 2026, and is growing in activity, stature and complexity. As MDA approaches its Centenary in 2030, MDA UK has embarked on its ambitious Towards Machratayim campaign, supporting the renovation and construction of ambulance stations, and helping to ensure MDA's staff and volunteers have the facilities, support and equipment they need for the challenges ahead.

With that growth comes an opportunity to take supporter care and stewardship to the next level.

MDA UK already has a loyal supporter base, alongside significant donors and committees who fund everything from lifesaving vehicles and equipment to major capital projects in Israel. The challenge for you will be to make sure what happens after someone gives is just as exceptional as what comes before it.

What will you be doing?

Reporting directly to the CEO and joining the Senior Leadership Team, you'll lead a team of two Supporter Services Executives and become the organisational bridge between fundraising, supporter services, CRM and data, operations and colleagues at MDA Israel.

You'll bring together the detail, systems and human touch that make brilliant stewardship possible.

That means you'll:

• Lead and develop supporter services, creating a warm, responsive and consistently excellent experience for supporters at every level.
• Build thoughtful stewardship journeys for significant donors, committees and project supporters, ensuring people understand not only where their money has gone, but the difference it has made.
• Keep donor promises on track, from recognition and project milestones to dedications, visits and meaningful updates.
• Turn complexity into compelling communication, translating medical, technical, construction and procurement information into clear, engaging stories and updates for supporters.
• Strengthen processes and systems, ensuring CRM records, workflows and responsibilities are clear, accurate and reliable.
• Champion the supporter voice across the charity, spotting opportunities to improve experiences, solve recurring problems and help MDA UK grow responsibly.

Crucially, this isn't a frontline major donor fundraising role. You don't need a track record of personally securing six-figure gifts. Your expertise will be in what makes relationships last: exceptional care, thoughtful communication, attention to detail, strong systems and doing what you said you would do.

Who are we looking for?

You'll probably have spent at least five years working in supporter services, donor care, stewardship, customer or client services, account management, or another relationship-focused environment.

You'll have experience of leading or supervising people and be someone who can keep multiple projects, stakeholders and deadlines moving without losing sight of the individual supporter at the centre of them.

You'll be equally comfortable talking to a significant donor, briefing a colleague, improving a process, chasing an overdue project update or turning complex information into a warm and engaging supporter communication.

You'll bring:

• A genuinely strong supporter-service mindset
• Experience of stewardship, donor relations or high-value relationship management
• Confident people leadership
• Exceptional organisation and follow-through
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Experience working with HNW individuals, international stakeholders and public figures
• Strong judgement, discretion and attention to detail
• Confidence using CRM systems, data and digital tools
• Diplomacy and persistence, with the ability to bring people together and make things happen.

Experience of Raiser's Edge, capital or medical fundraising, donor-funded projects, international partnerships or donor visits would all be helpful, but they are not essential. MDA UK is also keen to find someone with a forward-thinking approach who is open to using emerging AI tools to improve customer and supporter relationships.
