Procurement Manager (Indirect)

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to oversee key indirect categories such as Marketing, Sales, Travel, HR, Facility Management, and Financial Services. Day-to-Day of the Role:
- Category Strategy: Develop and implement robust category strategies that align with overarching business goals.
- Sourcing & Negotiation: Lead end-to-end sourcing projects and handle commercial/contractual negotiations to enhance service and cost efficiency.
- Contract Management: Proactively monitor and manage contracts throughout their lifecycle to meet stakeholder needs.
- Savings & Value Creation: Identify savings opportunities, build business cases, and present recommendations to decision-makers.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior internal stakeholders.
- Supplier Relationship Management (SRM): Manage key vendor relationships to ensure high service quality, budget adherence, and risk mitigation.
- Governance & Operations: Enhance Procurement and Legal governance processes to streamline supplier onboarding and manage contract risks.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives and encourage supplier-led innovation across your portfolio.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience in managing indirect categories, with a track record of handling complex sourcing projects and large contracts.
- Commercial Track Record: Demonstrated ability to deliver significant cost savings and commercial value.
- Mindset: Proactive, able to balance strategic thinking with tactical delivery in a dynamic environment.
- Process Focus: Keen on improving processes within the business and Procurement function.
- Tools & Systems: Experience with procurement platforms like Coupa, Ironclad, PowerBI, and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
- Relationship Building: Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
- Qualifications & Sector Background: CIPS qualification and media/advertising sector experience are advantageous.
