We are seeking a dedicated Aspiring Child Counsellor/SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a specialist provision within a mainstream primary school-based in Esher. This role is ideal for anyone interested in becoming a Child Counsellor, as well as individuals with experience in education, care, or youth work, alongside recent or soon-to-be Psychology, Criminology, or Sociology graduates.

About the Role

As an Aspiring Child Counsellor/LSA, you will support pupils with profound and complex learning difficulties in a structured and nurturing environment. This position in Esher offers valuable, hands-on experience for an Aspiring Child Counsellor, providing exposure to emotional support, behaviour management, and therapeutic approaches.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional needs
• Support emotional regulation and wellbeing
• Assist with a personalised and flexible curriculum
• Work closely with teachers and SEN professionals
• Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils
• Help create a safe and supportive learning environment

£93-£110 per day
