Job Requirements/Description

Are you a highly organised brand and creative professional who knows how to write a great brief and turn it into high-quality work? Do you enjoy bringing together colleagues, designers and suppliers to deliver creative projects that strengthen a brand and engage audiences?

The Royal College of Radiologists is looking for a talented Brand and Creative Officer to help bring our brand to life. Working closely with our Brand Manager and colleagues across the organisation, you'll play a key role in ensuring everything we produce reflects our values, strengthens our reputation, and engages our members and stakeholders.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who combines creative thinking with strong project management and stakeholder management skills. You'll be comfortable creating assets when needed, but just as importantly you'll know how to write a creative brief, coordinate teams and keep projects moving from brief to deliver.

What you'll do:

  • Manage creative and brand projects from brief to delivery, coordinating stakeholders, designers, agencies, suppliers, timelines and budgets.
  • Act as a brand guardian, providing practical advice on our visual identity, positioning, messaging and tone of voice.
  • Work closely with our in-house designer and external creative partners to deliver high-quality, engaging work that meets the brief and strengthens the RCR brand.
  • Build strong relationships across the organisation, understanding colleagues' needs and confidently advising, influencing and constructively challenging where needed.
  • Manage relationships with design agencies and creative suppliers, ensuring work is delivered to a high standard, on time and within budget.
  • Create and adapt accessible, on-brand assets and templates using Canva and other design software.
  • Support the branding and promotion of RCR events, helping us maximise engagement before, during and after each event.
  • Manage branded templates and maintain an effective digital library of images and creative assets.

What you'll need:

  • Experience managing creative projects from brief through to delivery, including coordinating timelines, stakeholders, suppliers and competing priorities.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to keep multiple projects moving while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
  • A good understanding of brand strategy, visual identity and tone of voice, and experience maintaining brand consistency across different channels and touchpoints.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the confidence to give clear advice, manage expectations and build effective relationships at all levels.
  • Experience working with design agencies or creative suppliers, including briefing work, giving constructive feedback and managing delivery against deadlines and budgets.
  • A high level of proficiency in Canva, with the ability to create and adapt professional, engaging and on-brand assets and templates.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign.
  • Excellent attention to detail, sound judgement and a proactive, solutions-focused approach

At the RCR, you'll be part of a collaborative and purpose-driven organisation that works to improve patient care and support excellence in clinical radiology and oncology. You'll have the opportunity to shape and strengthen a respected national brand while developing your skills within a supportive and ambitious team.

Ready to make an impact? We'd love to hear from you. Apply today and help us bring the RCR brand to life.
