About the RoleWe are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join a brand-new, purpose-built nursery in Balham. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a new team from the very beginning, helping to shape the culture, routines, and environment of a growing nursery.
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional care and education, creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where children can learn, develop, and thrive.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality care and learning in line with the EYFS framework.
- Plan and support engaging activities that promote children's development.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Observe, assess, and record children's progress.
- Ensure the nursery environment is safe, clean, and welcoming.
- Promote children's wellbeing and safeguard them at all times.
- Work collaboratively as part of the nursery team to maintain high standards of care and education.
About You- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare.
- Good knowledge of the EYFS framework.
- Passionate about supporting children's learning and development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, enthusiastic, and committed to delivering high-quality childcare.
