A "Good" Secondary School located in Wandsworth are on the hunt for an Assistant SENCO, who is available September. This role shall be for the remainder of the academic year with scope for further extension.

What shall this Assistant SENCO involve you doing? Working alongside an excellent SENCo to run a newly opened provision for 12 students with ASC.

This role is open to both SENCo, Assistant SENCo or individuals who have previous experience with supporting SEN or carrying out EHCP duties - This role is very much dependent on the appointed Assistant SENCO.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Assistant SENCO
• Supporting EHCP applications
• Working alongside the current SENCo & SEN Team
• Basic admin duties
• Carrying out assessments (pending experience)
• September Start
• Full Time - Term Time Only
• MPS3 - UPS3
• Located in the Borough Wandsworth

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• Must have QTS and be a strong teacher - even the exec head teaches here!
• Must be confident in working in a fast-paced environment
• Previous EHCPs or SEN experience would be ideal
• Carry out data / admin tasks to a high level
• Must be able to work within a large team
