Purpose of the Role

The Day Opportunities Development Manager will drive the strategic transformation and growth of Centre 404's Day Opportunities service in line with our Strategy. You will co-design a highly flexible, person-centred, and community-based offer alongside the people we support, while expanding its reach across multiple boroughs.

By reviewing current provisions, you will transition the service into a community-integrated model that empowers individuals with learning disabilities and autism to build social connections and valued roles. You will be directly responsible for scaling the service's geographical reach, securing diverse funding streams, and managing the Project Manager who oversees day-to-day operations.

Centre 404 is entering an exciting new chapter, and we are looking for a visionary Day Opportunities Development Manager to spearhead the transformation of our day services. This pivotal role is central to our wider organisational strategy to modernise, expand, and elevate how we support people with learning disabilities and autism. If you understand the sector deeply, thrive on strategic development, and know how to lead and inspire a dedicated team across multiple sites, this is your opportunity to make a lasting, tangible impact.

At the heart of this role is a commitment to true co-production. You will not just be designing a new programme; you will be working hand-in-hand with the people we support and their families to ensure they shape our leisure, daily living skills, and employment preparation streams from the very start. Taking the reins of our current offer, you will evaluate what works, integrate our adult clubs, and build a high-quality, structured programme that reaches new boroughs and welcomes young people transitioning into adulthood. Balancing robust leadership, financial growth, and a steadfast commitment to safety and quality, you will translate our strategic ambitions into a vibrant, community-focused reality.
