KPI Education is working in partnership with a well-respected and high-performing secondary school in Bromley to recruit an enthusiastic Teacher of History on a part-time basis (0.6 timetable). This exciting opportunity is open to both experienced teachers and ambitious ECTs looking to develop within a thriving Humanities faculty.

The Role
The successful candidate will join a large and successful Humanities faculty, teaching History across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential for Key Stage 5 teaching depending on experience.
The school is seeking a teacher who can inspire curiosity, develop critical thinking and foster a genuine passion for History within the classroom.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging and challenging History lessons across KS3 and KS4
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment with high expectations for all students
Monitor and assess student progress, providing clear and effective feedback
Differentiate lessons to support students of varying abilities and learning needs
Contribute to curriculum development and Humanities enrichment opportunities
Support the wider life of the school through pastoral responsibilities and departmental collaboration
Maintain strong classroom management and uphold school behaviour expectations
Ideal Candidate
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or currently completing teacher training
Degree in History or a related subject
Passion for History and Humanities education
Strong communication and classroom management skills
Commitment to raising student attainment and engagement
Ability to contribute positively to a collaborative department culture
