Behaviour Mentor - Wandsworth - SEMH School - £100-£120 a day (depending on experience) - Full Time - Immediate Start

• Behaviour Mentor - Previous experience supporting pupils with behavioural or SEMH needs required
• Behaviour Mentor - Experience working in a secondary school, PRU or alternative provision desirable
• Behaviour Mentor - Must be confident with behaviour management and de-escalation strategies

The Role - Behaviour Mentor
Seeking a resilient and proactive Behaviour Mentor to support pupils aged 11-16 within a specialist setting in Tooting. You will work closely with teaching staff, pastoral teams and the SEND department to provide targeted 1:1 and small-group support for pupils who require additional behavioural and emotional support. The role involves implementing behaviour support plans, using de-escalation techniques, promoting emotional regulation and helping pupils remain engaged with their learning. You will act as a positive role model, encouraging attendance, resilience and positive behaviour throughout the school day.

This specialist secondary provision is located in Tooting within the London Borough of Wandsworth and is within walking distance of a nearby London Underground station. The school supports pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs, providing a structured and supportive environment with a strong focus on behaviour, wellbeing and re-engagement with education.
