Interim Head of Corporate Partnerships

Hearing Dogs for Deaf People is looking for an experienced corporate fundraising leader to become its Interim Head of Corporate Partnerships, leading the charity's corporate fundraising strategy and helping build partnerships that transform the lives of people who are deaf or have hearing loss.

Since 1982, Hearing Dogs has created more than 2,800 life-changing partnerships between people and hearing dogs. Its work goes beyond training dogs to alert people to important sounds. It provides personalised support, community and advice to help people live with greater confidence, independence and connection.

Reporting to the Director of Income Generation and joining the Senior Management Team within a new directorate, you will play an important role in shaping strategic direction while leading the Corporate Partnerships function. You will develop and deliver a high-performing corporate fundraising strategy, setting clear plans and targets to secure, grow and sustain valuable partnerships.

You will lead a team of corporate fundraisers while personally developing and stewarding high-value relationships. This will include identifying and securing new opportunities, building compelling propositions and pitches, and developing a strong prospect pipeline through research, insight and industry intelligence. You will also oversee existing partnerships, ensuring they deliver value for both the charity and its corporate partners.

The role offers scope to develop partnerships across a range of opportunities, from Charity of the Year and strategic CSR collaborations to sponsorship and cause-related marketing. You will work closely with colleagues across communications, services, finance and impact, as well as the Head of Commercial, to develop partnership programmes and identify opportunities across the wider organisation.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of securing and managing high-value corporate partnerships, including six-figure relationships, alongside experience leading a corporate fundraising function and developing a team. You will bring a commercial mindset, strategic thinking and the confidence to build relationships and influence at senior levels. A sound understanding of CSR, ESG and the motivations behind corporate-charity partnerships will also be important.
