Finance Transformation Business Analyst

Remote UK-based 12-Month Contract

We are looking for a Finance Transformation Business Analyst to support a major finance transformation programme entering its second phase.

Working closely with the Programme Lead, you will play a broad, hands-on role across process improvement, standardisation, documentation and project delivery. This is a varied role suited to someone who is comfortable getting into the detail, working with stakeholders and taking ownership of deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of Phase 2 of a global finance transformation programme.
• Review and drive standardisation of finance processes across the organisation.
• Document current-state and future-state processes, procedures and ways of working.
• Define and document roles, responsibilities and ownership across finance processes.
• Support the development and maintenance of project plans, actions, dependencies and milestones.
• Work with finance and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into clear, practical outputs.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, clarify ownership and establish more consistent ways of working.
• Produce clear process documentation, requirements, governance materials and project deliverables.
• Support the Programme Lead with wider finance transformation activities as required.

About You

• Experience working as a Business Analyst within a finance transformation programme.
• Strong understanding of finance processes and operating models.
• Comfortable working across a broad range of transformation activities, rather than being limited to one process area.
• Strong process mapping and documentation skills.
• Able to work independently and take ownership of deliverables.
• A practical, hands-on "doer" who is comfortable getting into the detail and making things happen.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working within international or global transformation programmes would be beneficial.
