Job Title: Proposal Manager (RFX & AI Orchestration)

Location: Remote / Hybrid (UK)

Contract Type: 12-Month Fixed Term Contract (FTC)

Salary: £55,000 - £75,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

About the Role

We are seeking an innovative Proposal Manager to lead end-to-end competitive pursuits, RFPs, RFIs, and customised sales proposals. Operating as a strategic sales project manager, you will coordinate cross-functional teams and leverage cutting-edge AI orchestration tools to construct clear, compelling, and client-centric value narratives.

Key Responsibilities

• Response Ownership: Manage competitive RFPs, RFIs, and complex bids from initial intake to final submission.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Drive accountability across Sales, Pricing, Solution Consulting, and Professional Services teams to meet key project milestones.
• AI Orchestration & Drafting: Utilize AI-powered proposal technology to rapidly draft, scaffold, and assemble tailored proposals.
• Human-in-the-Loop Validation: Conduct thorough compliance, legal, and factual accuracy reviews on AI-generated output to eliminate commercial and technical risk.
• Gap & Compliance Analysis: Perform detailed gap analysis against original client specifications to guarantee 100% compliance.
• Knowledge Asset Management: Capture successful narratives, discriminators, and win themes to continually update and refresh the central knowledge repository.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Circa 3+ years of experience in bid management, proposal writing, sales support, or clinical trial operations.
• AI & Tech Fluency: Hands-on experience working with AI-powered RFP software (e.g., Loopio), LLM workflows, or prompt engineering frameworks.
• Systems Proficiency: Experience with Loopio, Salesforce, and Google Workspace platforms.
• Core Competencies: Strong technical writing, editing, and prompt engineering skills, with the ability to turn complex technical details into persuasive sales stories.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Certifications: APMP (Association of Proposal Management Professionals) certification is preferred but not essential.
