About the Role Long Term Futures are working with a fantastic, nurturing primary school in Camden seeking a dedicated EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant to support a child with Autism (ASD) on a 1:1 basis. This role offers the chance to work closely with a supportive SEN team, helping to develop communication, social interaction, and engagement through structured and play-based learning approaches. Key Responsibilities include:

• Providing 1:1 support for a child with ASD in an EYFS setting
• Supporting communication and interaction through structured approaches (e.g. visual aids, routines)
• Encouraging engagement through play-based and sensory learning activities
• Supporting emotional regulation and behaviour in a calm, consistent manner
• Working collaboratively with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals
• Monitoring progress and contributing to tailored support plans

• Experience supporting children with SEN, particularly ASD (desirable)
• Passion for working in Early Years and supporting development
• Patient, nurturing, and proactive approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine desire to make a difference
