Trusts and Foundations Manager

We are seeking an experienced trust fundraiser to secure significant grants, build lasting funder relationships and help Depaul UK end youth homelessness.

Location: London, Manchester or the North East, with flexible working
Salary: £41,456 to £44,956 per year
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Contract: Permanent

About the role

You will join Depaul UK's fundraising team at an important time, managing relationships with trusts and foundations that make five and six-figure gifts. You will develop persuasive proposals, strengthen existing partnerships and build a pipeline of new opportunities to support young people experiencing homelessness.

You will also manage and coach two team members, helping them achieve their objectives while contributing to the wider trusts income strategy.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Securing major and multi-year grants through compelling applications and cases for support.

Managing funder relationships, stewardship plans and grant reporting.

Identifying prospects that align with Depaul UK's priorities.

Monitoring income performance, forecasts and team targets.

Working with colleagues across the organisation to develop funding opportunities and demonstrate impact.

About you

You will bring a track record of delivering against a fundraising target of more than £500,000, alongside strong bid writing and trust relationship management skills. You can communicate persuasively, manage competing priorities and support others to do their best work.

You will have line management experience and be comfortable working across teams. Knowledge of the Code of Fundraising Practice, data protection legislation and Raiser's Edge NXT would be an advantage.
