Interim Management Accountant

Job Title: Interim Management Accountant (6-Month Contract)
Location: Cambridge (Hybrid - 3 days office / 2 days home)
Salary: Competitive (Dependent on Experience)

Overview We are currently partnering with a world-class organisation based in the Cambridge region to recruit a qualified Interim Management Accountant for an initial 6-month assignment. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional seeking exposure within a high-performing, market-leading business, with the potential to move into a permanent position.

The Role As Management Accountant, you will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely financial information to support business decision-making.
Responsibilities will include:
Preparation of monthly management accounts
Balance sheet reconciliations
Variance analysis and insightful commentary
Budgeting and forecasting support
Business partnering with key stakeholders across the organisation
Supporting process improvements and driving efficiencies

About You
Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
Immediately available or on a short notice period
Proven experience in a Management Accountant or similar role
Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
Looking for an opportunity that could progress into a long-term or permanent role
