HGV Technician Opportunity in Amersham Offering a Family-Run Workshop Environment

Our client, a reputable independent commercial vehicle workshop in Amersham, Buckinghamshire, is recruiting for an HGV Technician to join their dedicated team. Benefits:

- Salary of £44,200 per annum
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 5:30 pm, with no weekend work
- 20 days holiday plus bank holidays

Duties:

- Conduct repairs and maintenance on Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs)
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults accurately
- Perform vehicle inspections in compliance with industry standards
- Ensure all work is completed within legal and company requirements
- Maintain detailed records of repairs and services
- Provide expert technical advice and exceptional customer service
- Contribute to a safe and efficient workshop environment

Requirements:

- Proven experience as an HGV Technician or in a similar Heavy Vehicle maintenance role
- Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
- Strong diagnostic and technical skills with a focus on heavy vehicles
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Valid HGV licence is desirable but not essential
